Amy Powell portraiture
This summer, I did a portrait trade with the photographer Amy Powell of Dayton, OH. We met last year at her show at The Contemporary Dayton. Amy has shot for publications nationwide and has a more photo-journalistic style than mine. The pup is her dog, Lucy. Lucy is getting up in age, Amy requested photos with her.
The light kept changing on us. We were too busy catching up and got a late start to our photos. So, pivoting, I kept the shutter open longer and played with flash and movement. I LOVE the photo above.
